Chapter 7
"Confessions"
When they got finished eating their pizza Dream Street’s manager came in and told them that the studio was about to close. “Oh ok.” they said. They all decided to go to Central Park. They got in Frankie’s mini van and he drove them to the park.
When they got there they got out and went over and found a picnic table to sit at. The weather was cold but nice. They were all talking and laughing. Then Jesse saw a hot chocolate sign. “Hey...you guys want some hot chocolate?” he asked. “Yeah!” they all replied. “Ok...you guys wanna help me get it?” he asked the guys. Matt and Greg volunteered to help Jesse get the chocolate. “I’m gonna go look at the statue.” Stephanie said pointing to a statue in the middle of the park. “Ok.” Jesse said as he gave a quick kiss. They left to get the hot chocolate and Stephanie went over to the statue. Frankie and Chris stayed to save their table. The guys got to the hot chocolate stand. The line there was really long.

Stephanie was reading the information about the statue when she heard someone behind her say, “Interesting isn’t it?” “Hmm?” she said turning around and finding Chris smiling at her, “Oh...hey Chris. Yeah...it’s cool.” They looked at it for a minute. “Oh...hey. What did you want to tell me back at the studio?” Stephanie asked Chris. “Huh...Oh...um...nothing.” he muttered in reply. “You were about to tell me something...don’t say you weren’t.” she looked at him waiting for him to tell her. She liked Jesse a lot--but when Chris smiled at her...it took her breath away. ’I never noticed how cute he was.’ she said to her self. ’But Jesse is my man.’ she thought. “Ok...I was gonna say...I mean what I meant to say was. Ugh...I’m just gonna say it. I like you!” he told her. “Oh...ok...um...I don’t know what to say.” she replied. “I shouldn’t of told you. You are going out with Jesse. You probably hate me now.” he said. “I don’t hate you.” she said. They heard Jesse yell, “Hey guys...hot chocolate is here.” Stephanie waved to show they would be there in a sec. “We better get over there...hey you won’t tell Jesse what I said...I don’t want him to get mad or whatever.” Chris said as they headed toward the table. “No...I won’t. And I like you too...but just as a friend.” she told him. “Ok.” he said as he gave her a hug as a friend. She didn’t want to but when he hugged her she felt this feeling. Chris turned and kept walking. ’I think it’s just as a friend. Yes it is...I love Jesse. But am I having feeling for Chris too?’ she thought to herself. She shook off her thoughts and went over to the table.
When they got over to the table Stephanie sat beside Jesse and kissed him on the lips. “Mmm...what was that for?” he asked her. “Because...I love you!” she smiled. “Well...cool!” he said as he kissed her on the cheek. They all drank their hot chocolate. They were getting cold and plus tomorrow was Christmas eve and they all had things to do...so they decided to go home. Frankie drove them all home.
When they got home Matt and Stephanie went upstairs to wrap gifts. They got all the things they needed and went in Stephanie’s room to wrap. They closed the door so no one would see their present. As they were wrapping Matt asked, “Did you have fun at the park?” “Oh...yeah.” she said. They finished wrapping and went down stairs to eat dinner. After dinner they got ready and went to bed. They were very excited because all they guys and their families were coming the next day...for Christmas eve. They couldn’t wait!
